Hello, I heard and have seen myself that you can recover files on a hard drive that have been deleted on that hard drive with recovery programs, if the space hasn't been overwritten, well is there a way I can make it so that my hard drive does not give anything a chance to be overwritten? Let's say I deleted an important document that I don't ever want recovered, is there a way I can make it so that the hard drive won't allow recovery on that file? Or is there a way to just block recovery on deleted files permanently? Thank you for the responses.
