I have a lenovo 3000 N 100 laptop. The old hard drive went bad. I bought a new one and was told that I could put the operating system recover disk in and it would install vista onto the new hard drive. This does not work and it goes to a black screen that says several things but ends with no operating system found. Was the new hard drive a waist of money or is there a way to get it to work.
