I have movies and music that I have downloaded on my external hard drive. It's stopped working and now I need to have a data recovery service performed on it. Will they report me? Will they know? Can they see files that have been on my PC first (i.e. as I am downloading movies and music to my PC's hard drive first, then transfering to the xternal drive)?
